Product details

Unlike tea or coffee, mate is prepared in a dedicated mate cup and enjoyed through a bombilla, a filtered stainless steel straw designed to keep the leaves out while delivering a smooth, flavorful sip.
Because the leaves remain in the cup, the same serving can be infused again and again, creating a slower, more intentional experience that encourages focus, conversation, and connection.
Loose-leaf Ilex paraguariensis from a single estate in Misiones, Argentina. Air-cured for 12 months, milled to a coarse cut for traditional gourd brewing. Each pouch is nitrogen-flushed at origin to lock in the green, herbaceous notes.

How to Prepare Your Mate

1. Fill Your Mate Cup
Add yerba mate until your cup is about two-thirds full.

2. Insert the Bombilla
Place the bombilla into the mate and leave it in position throughout the session.

3. Add Hot Water
Pour water between 150–170°F (65–75°C) into one side of the cup. Avoid boiling water, which can make the flavor bitter.

4. Sip and Refill
Enjoy your mate through the bombilla. As the water level drops, simply refill and continue the ritual.

5. Repeat
A single serving of yerba mate can be reinfused 10–15 times, revealing subtle changes in flavor with each pour.
"Slow down. Focus deeply. Connect often."

—  From The Source

Grown on one farm.Cured for twelve months.

Our yerba is grown under native canopy on a four-generation family farm in Misiones, Argentina. No smoke, no rush, no shortcuts — just air, time, and one careful leaf.

Most commercial yerba is dried over open wood fires to speed production. We cure ours slowly over a full year so the flavor stays green, herbaceous, and alive.

Best mate I've found in the US

Switched from coffee three months ago and haven't looked back. The energy is so much cleaner — no anxiety, no crash.

Best mate I've found in the US

I was skeptical about the taste but the unsmoked version is genuinely delicious. Smooth, green, slightly grassy. I love it.

Best mate I've found in the US

The ritual itself is the best part. Taking 20 minutes to prepare and sip mate has become the anchor of my morning. Can't imagine starting without it.

Quality is exceptional. You can tell it's fresh — the color, the smell, the taste. Nothing like the dusty bags from the grocery store.
